5 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER SAY TO A BRIDE –TO-BE
The Wedding season is here, and many of us are already busy preparing for a friend or a relative’s wedding.
Since weddings are always exciting for the bride as well as everyone around her, it is only natural to want to get a little chatty with the bride, but as we all know that the brides - to - be become extra sensitive during this phase of life, we ought to be a little extra careful about what we say to her.
Here are 5 things you should never say to the bride
- Are you ready to say goodbye to your ‘peehar’/maaika
Honestly, no girl is ever ready to give up her space and parents.
She has been born and raised by her parents, in a place which she calls home. By reminding her that she would no longer be in the same environment or with the same parents, you will only add to her stress and anxiety.
- Are you hitting the gym soon?
Asking her whether she is going to lose weight is like telling her on the face that she doesn’t look good.
The last thing a bride to be wants is someone telling her she isn’t fit or beautiful the way she is.
- Are you sure about it?
Marriage is a stressful and a life changing affair for both bride and the groom.
There is no need to make it more stressful by putting a doubt in her mind,
That whether she has made the right decision.
- Are you sure this is what you are going to wear?
It’s her big day, and she is allowed to wear whatever she wants to, if she feels good in it. What she needs to hear is that her dress is perfect and she would look amazing no matter what.
- The EX talk
Talking about an ex is uncomfortable for anyone, especially for a bride to be.
You would not want to bring that up, when she is about to start a new life now, would you?!
